Les Cygnes

Two weeks before Christmas 2002, my wife and I opened our "real" chocolate shop, Les Cygnes (it means “The Swans”) in Glasgow's famous St Enoch Centre. The shop boasts an impressive assortment of finest quality Belgian chocolates, delicious filled chocolate bars and other confectionery delights.

All our chocolates are all produced in Belgium by artisan chocolate makers, Kim’s. This highly experienced chocolate house includes a third generation chocolatier, who bases his recipes on family tradition dating back to the turn of the 19th Century.

We offer up to 90 different chocolates, covering the whole range of Belgian specialities: distinctive pralines, sensational gianduja, feather-light fresh cream chocolates, smooth butter creams, sweet fondants, enriched caramels, sumptuous ganaches made with real butter, and many more. All these fillings are natural; no preservatives or genetically modified products are added.

As well as Belgian chocolate, we offer traditional chocolates such as rose & violet creams and chocolate gingers, novelties such as sugar mice and chocolate frogs, wedding favours in beautiful boxes from Italy, and a superb range of confectionery gifts from Switzerland.

A popular introduction has been a fabulous selection of Scottish tablet, fudge and macaroon. Such sweet toothed treats as "Clootie Dumpling Fudge" and "Strawberry and Cream Macaroon" are included in the range.
We always try to offer something different. Dark chocolate lovers must look out for the 86% dark chocolate bar, and the 70% Papillion chocolates elegantly topped with a real piece of 22 carat gold.

For slimmers on the Atkins diet, we have a fabulous range of low carb sweets and chocolate. While the praline filled Cuba cigars are a must for the chocoholic who wants to give up smoking!
